Position Details and Requirements
O'Kelly Co. is searching for a dynamic Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for enthusiastic professionals eager to make their mark in the marketing world. The Marketing Assistant will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies, creating compelling content, and engaging with our clients' audiences across multiple platforms. We're looking for someone passionate about marketing, who has a keen eye for detail, and who can bring fresh ideas to the table.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Email Marketing: Design and execute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
Content Creation: Plan and write brand-compliant copy for digital platforms; create compelling content for social media, email campaigns, blog posts, and advertising materials.
Website Management: Update websites and build webpages using SquareSpace and WordPress.
Social Media: Develop and implement monthly social media content calendars; monitor and respond to inbound communications and direct messages via social media channels; engage on our clients' social media accounts to foster community and interaction.
Graphic Design: Produce on-brand graphics, videos, and other assets using Canva and Adobe Suite.
Campaign Execution: Assist in the development and execution of creative marketing and advertising campaigns that align with client objectives.
Performance Tracking: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement.
Data Management: Import data into Mailchimp, groom data using Google Sheets or Excel.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the content creation team for cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
Client Interaction: Maintain positive client relationships and manage clients' online reputation and presence.
Past Experience Desired (but not required):
1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, with a focus on digital content creation and campaign management.
Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, SproutSocial).
Proficiency in content creation tools like Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
Familiarity with G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides) for collaboration and productivity.
Client-facing experience, with a proven track record of maintaining positive client relationships.
A positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and an eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Mailchimp for designing and executing targeted email marketing campaigns to effectively engage our clients' audiences and drive results.
